OK, great. > Granted this may not be a mvpmc issues, but rather a dd-wrt issue... > tftp-server = 192.168.0.200 > linsys w/ dd-wrt = 192.168.0.1 > > on linksys,Setup,Basic Setup > DHCP Type is 'Server' > Use DNSMasq for DHCP is CHECKED > > on linksys,Adminstration,Services,Additional DHCPd options: > dhcp-host=00:14:FD:10:4F:D2,NAS,192.168.0.200 > dhcp-host=00:0D:FE:00:07:72,MyMVP,192.168.0.204 > dhcp-boot=net:MVP,dongle.bin,NAS,192.168.0.200 > > But I am stuck with the blue MediaMVP screen and it seems to never get > an address. I presume you consulted: http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/howto_boot_OpenWRT The "net:MVP" portion of the dhcp-boot line must be optional, as I don't have it my setup. My MVPs are the only thing that uses BOOTP, and they all use the same settings. The relevant lines from my Dnsmasq config looks like: # Set the NTP time server address to be the same machine as # is running dnsmasq dhcp-option=42,0.0.0.0 dhcp-boot=dongle.bin,mythtv,192.168.0.203 dhcp-host=00:0d:fe:0c:01:28,mvp1,infinite dhcp-host=00:0d:fe:0c:89:a2,mvp2,infinite Are you sure you have the MVP's MAC address correct? Have you examined the Dnsmasq logs? > Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Join us over on the users mailing list.
