Neither. Currently pressing the blue button has a fairly high chance of bringing you to a bookmark of a totally different file. Looking at the code I can't see how it would ever have worked reliably, to be honest. > I ran the MythDB tests and they are fine (though I still can't watch live >>> tv)... >>> >> >> What happens when you try to use the Live TV feature? > > > It says that I have to set up DNS or add my backend to /etc/hosts. This is a very misleading "error", it simply comes up if LiveTV is taking a while to start, which it usually does. If you allow the error to stay up for a while does LiveTV eventually start? Do you have working DNS for your mythbackend's hostname? > I'm not good at command line Linux, but I will try it tonight. How do I kill > the process, and how do I capture the debug output? if you telnet to the mvp's IP address, then do: killall mvpmc that should kill the existing program then just copy/paste the line you have in your dongle.bin.config which starts mvpmc into the terminal You should then be able to just cut/paste the output from the program. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
