Looks like some error accessing the card, so back to fundamentals - can
you view LiveTV via MythTV, ignoring the mvp completely?

Yes it is, you just aren't using it! Use your BE IP address or name to ntp
sync with. However this doesn't look like your problem in this case, just
may save you further problems further up the line!
