Hi Martin,

thanks for your input. However, it really is not a playlist, is it. 
Ananlysis of the uPNP data provided by Mediatomb (as sent in my previous 
email) shows no 'm3u' file extension or any indication that there is a 
playlist as far as I can tell. My guess would be that mvpmc adds a 
virtual extension based on what it thinks the server will provide (i.e. 
.vob to an mpeg2 file), but I have no idea why it would think that a 
playlist was served in this case...
