Yeah I hear you, I was looking at these:
tigerdirect.com: MBM-GF8200-5000
...because it's a dual core uP and the board has nvidia built in w/HDMI.
[And a DVI & VGA port and has a couple of PCI slots for tuners. The 
bad: No ready to use SPDIF port (I'm hoping it's available on the board 
somewhere) and only 1 IDE port (DVD & PATA-HDDs will have to share!).]

...because even though I think 2GB is enough, at these prices 4GB is 
affordable.

Costs after rebates (and adding a new uP fan) should be under $200 
(about $160).

What do you think?  Or do you have other suggestions?
