Nope. I cannot even get it to transcode the stuff manually (from the
host OS command line), so it does not appear to be a mvpmc issue
(unless there is some other way to do it that does work with vlc). It
appears to be missing the needed output encoder.
My current solution is to use a older OS install that has a VLC 0.8.x
version on it.
