Thanks so much for your response. Make no mistake, I fint this an extremely useful extension already, and thanks so much for the work put into it. I'm currently probing whether I can tweak it to work in a manner my wiki users expect.

Actually, the "collection" extension I've been wanting the most which I hope this can be turned into, is very reminiscent of the "Watch page" feature that's already built in. Every registered user has a "watch page" button. Pages can be watched and unwatched, and watched pages are gathered in a private list tied to that user account. So I guess I'm asking whether MW Collection can be made to behave in a slightly similar manner: - Watch page becomes "Add to collection" - Unwatch page becomes "Remove from collection" - My watch list becomes "My collection" - Watch lists can be shared with others. > The main purpose of the collections created with the Collection > extension is to download PDFs, OpenOffice Text documents or documents > in other formats, or to order a printed book. Very much so, yes. > But the Collection extension also includes the feature to save and > load collections (they're saved as vanilla wiki pages either under > User:Foo or in a configurable namespace, which can also be the main > namespace). If I understand you correctly, the "save collection" feature saves a snapshot of the collection gathered. What I was hoping for was a continuously updated collection that needn't be saved, because once it was started, it just was -- like the "watch list". > This should be configured globally. No matter what, I think that would be a nice feature. Thanks for your responses.
