The log output indicates you are using mwlib-0.8.6.dev (i.e. a version from the Mercurial repository) and mwlib.rl-0.8.3 (i.e. a release version from PyPI), could that be? If this is so, the problem should disappear if you use two release- packages or two (current) repository-checkouts.
