Oh my, you may be the coolest person on Earth (or at least right now)
for pointing me to this bug.  This would appear to be the cause of the
issue at first glance.  After reviewing our PHP information, we're
running version 5.2.10, and I'm pretty sure our host hasn't applied
this patch.

I'll get in contact with them about getting this patch up on the
hosting server.  Thanks a bunch man, appreciate the help!
