I got my collection extension working now with a local mw-serve process. The generation of books and the rendering works fine. I can find back correctly generated books in both pdf or odt in the directory /var/ cache/mw-serve When I click the "download the file"-link on the special:collections page : - in the case of a pdf file, it displays the pdf-file content in the browser. I mean not rendered but the text content of the generated file, which starts like : %PDF-1.3 %“Œ‹ž ReportLab Generated PDF document http://www.reportlab.com What do I need to do in order for the content to be rendered as a pdf file? I both tried safari and firefox on my mac. When I create and download a book from wikipedia.org, everything works fine. In that case the pdf-file is correctly displayed in the browser as a rendered pdf-document
