I would love to do that, but... the OOoWiki is running on a Solaris10
zone. I have root access to the zone, but not the entire Solaris10
server. The render server requires much much much newer versions of
the dependent apps than what is available on the Solaris10 install.
To deploy a render server, I have to manually recompile a lot of
software which I don't have root access to do (a lot of it resides
outside the Solaris zone I have root access to). So for now I'm
stuck. If we want to use the Collections extension (which is VERY
popular) on the OOoWiki, we don't have a choice but to use the
PediaPress server.

I'm pressuring for a different/updated server solution on my side, but
action on this has been... slowed by current developments with Sun (as
you no doubt have read in the media). Once that is finalized, then I
may be able to move forward on a server architecture change... but for
now :-( it remains as is.

Are these render problems due to an overload on the PediaPress render
server side? I've been testing this from the OOoWiki side for about
1.5 weeks now, with the same results.
