I opened ticket 881 yesterday, (http://code.pediapress.com/wiki/ticket/
881) and it was promptly closed as invalid. I figured I'd ask about it
here before reopening to make sure I'm not messing something up on my
end.
Essentially, what I've found is that wikitext containing the {{end
box}} template ends up mis-formatted, and some content that I expect
does not make it into the output.
Two examples are:
1) mw-render --output carmelo_test.html -x -c :en -w xhtml
Carmelo_Anthony
The stats boxes in this output are all embedded within one another,
since they are not properly closed by the {{end box}} templates.
Information below the boxes, such as the citations, are also embedded
within the stats boxes. Additionally, category information is excluded
from the output.
2) mw-render --output bret_test.html -x -c :en -w xhtml Bret_Michaels
The output here is not as obviously mis-formatted, but all information
after the {{end box}} template is missing. Again, category information
is excluded from the output.
I believe that both the embedded tables and the missing category
information are errors. Am I doing something wrong, or should I re-
open the bug and start investigating the cause? Maybe my original
ticket just wasn't descriptive enough?
