I've got an Intel i5 PC running as a mediawiki server on our intranet. I've added mwlib / mwlib.rl and the Collection extension, and after a lot of experimenting I finally have it running. But in terms of performance, if I make a big test document and render the PDF for it, in another browser window I can feel the slow-down as I follow links to pages that usually load quicker.
Is there any way to specify a core for mw-serve to run on? Or any other ways to address performance? I'm about ready to just use a different machine for rendering, but it seems like an i5 with 8GB of RAM, along with a mediawiki installation that enables file caching and APC, should be able to handle simultaneous document rendering. Thanks for reading. - skew -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mwlib" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
