I thought mwlib may be interested in the following publication which evaluates a number of offline MediaWiki markup parsers, and discusses the formal properties of the markup language: http://www.cs.otago.ac.nz/homepages/andrew/2010-8.pdf
I do not find the article particularly readable, and I think their idea of "compliance" is more subjective than might be expected of that word, but it is an interesting perspective on what makes a good parser, and how well each parser fulfills that. ~J -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mwlib" group.
