I know that the install of it was tedious when I did it. I would almost bet
that there are specific paths that need updating in the localsettings.php
for the extension to work properly.

The extension would be the same from one wiki to the next but if they
neglected to update the localsettings.php or updated it incorrectly that
could be the problem.

Its also possible that some file or another got corrupted in the extension
doing a copy and past, particularly if it had been done a number of times.
I always like to start from scratch with a fresh install of the extension
if I'm having issues.

I tried to contact pediapress and got nothing out of them, however I do know
a hosting site that has experience working on mediawiki's and extensions
that might be able to help if its something you would really want done, of
course this is the $$$ option.
