Hi Juris,
support for right to left languages is still experimental. But I am
currently trying to fix the most severe problems.
Check the "Installation" section of
http://code.pediapress.com/wiki/wiki/RightToLeft for how to get started.
The testing I am doing currently is for hebrew - therefore for arabic
even more problems can be expected. Currently it looks as if line
breaking is not done properly due to character shaping in arabic.
Regards,
Volker

I compared rendered arabic text with wiki article and I realised that
words are correct, but all the words in sentece are in reverse order.
E.g.
yes and it is a bit scrambled aswell. Some letters are rendered in
wrong order, as far as i can tell (I dont know a word in arabic)

Hi,
I have not written that software. Maybe you can modify _getTextAlign()
in writer/styleutils.py. You could also have a look at
writer/formatter.py. Otherwise look for that rl-program that creates the
pdf output and pass parameters to it or modify it.
Squares might mean that the fonts are missing.
Best wishes,
Timo
