Untuk bahan bakar MX yang sesuai adalah "Pertamax Plus", " Shell Super Extra", "Petronas Primax 95" oleh karena perbandingan kompresi tuh motor gedhe 10,9 : 1. Jadi tuh mesin tipe panas. Kalau dikasih premium (bertitik bakar rendah/oktan rendah) maka tuh BBM akan terbakar duluan sebelum busi mengeluarkan api. So kasian tuh mesin, biar mahalan dikit tapi motor bisa awet.
