basicly, wall'sÒ dan logo heartbrand adalah brand international milik
unilever, dimana keharusan untuk menjadi halal menjadi kebijaksanaan opco
masing-masing negara. untuk negara lain seperti UK (brand "wall's" juga)
keharusan sertifikasi halal tidak diwajibkan, sedangkan untuk indonesia dan
semua produk es krim yang diproduksi di indonesia (cikarang-red) dijamin
mempunyai sertifikasi jaminan halal dari lppom mui baik dari raw material,
produksi hingga pengolahan dan penanganan-nya.
berikut adalah keterangan resmi dari pihak wall's Indonesia
Semua Es Krim Wall’s Produksi Unilever Indonesia Dijamin “Halal”
Unilever Indonesia menjamin bahwa produk-produk es krim Wall’s yang
diproduksi dan dipasarkan di Indonesia adalah halal dan telah mendapatkan
sertifikat halal yang dikeluarkan oleh LPPOM MUI (Lembaga Pengkajian Produk
Obat dan Makanan Majelis Ulama Indonesia). Kehalalan ini mencakup semua
unsur, mulai dari unsur bahan mentah dan kemasannya, tempat pengolahan
(pabrik) dan proses pengolahannya.
Untuk menjamin kehalalan produk, Unilever Indonesia memiliki Sistem
Jaminan Halal (SJH) untuk produk-produk yang sudah mendapatkan sertifikat
halal dari LP POM MUI. SJH ini merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari
total jaminan mutu ISO 9001 yang telah diterapkan di pabrik-pabrik Unilever
Indonesia.
Untuk tugas sehari-hari Unilever Indonesia mengangkat Halal Internal
Auditor yang mempunyai hubungan langsung dengan LPPOM MUI untuk SJH
tersebut. Logo Halal dicantumkan di setiap kemasan produk es krim Walls
yang diproduksi di Indonesia, oleh karenanya semua produk Wall’s dijamin
kehalalannya.
All Wall’s Ice Cream Produced by Unilever Indonesia are guaranteed “Halal”
Unilever Indonesia guarantees that all Wall’s products produced and
marketed in Indonesia are halal and have halal certificates issued by LP
POM MUI (the Foods and Drugs Assessment Division of the Indonesian Council
of Ulemas). All elements in the products are halal, including raw
materials, packaging and production processes.
To ensure that the products are halal, Unilever Indonesia has Halal
Assurance System for all products which has been certified by LP POM MUI.
This system is a part of the total ISO 9001 quality assurance implemented
in Unilever Indonesia factories.
For daily operation, Unilever Indonesia assigns a Halal Internal Auditor
who is in direct contact with LP POM MUI for halal assurance. Halal label
is displayed on the packaging of each Wall’s product produced in
Indonesia, therefore all Wall’s ice creams are guaranteed halal.
