for what it's worth (maybe it's something you've tried already), when I had MLO on my old PDA, I had lots of problems syncing until I read somewhere that there are corruption problems with MLO files saved on storage cards.. after I moved my MLO file to the PDA memory I do not recall having syncing problems after that...
