Currently, Control+Alt+Up/Down when the current selected item is on the top/bottom respectively of the current sub-branch, nothing happens.
I'd like it to keep the current item at the same tree-depth, but moved up/down to the last/first child of the first node up/down the tree with the same depth as the current parent, respectively. Example: 1) entry 1 1a) entry 2 1b) entry 3 2) entry 4 1a) entry 5 <-- current selected item 1b) entry 6 press Control-Alt-Up results in: 1) entry 1 1a) entry 2 1b) entry 3 1c) entry 5 <-- current selected item 2) entry 4 1a) entry 6 Right now this very-natural edit is slightly painful going UP and very painful going DOWN, particularly if the origional or final parent has many children: UP currently requires: press C+A+Left, C+A+Up, C+A+Right, if the origianl parent node has lots of children this may result in excessive scrolling. DOWN currently requires: press C+A+Left, C+A+Down, C+A+Right, C+A+Up * N times where N is the number of children of the final parent node. NOTE: a C+A+Up then C+A+Down (or visa versa) results in no change in the tree so it is easy to undo the edit if it isn't what you wanted. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
