Not sure if thsis would be possible but I wonder if there could be a place on the internet you could keep an MLO file and sync with it from your desktop, in the same way google calendar syncs with outlook. You wouldn't need to have any functionality on the web version. You could use an iphone version to download the latest MLO file (or maybe a limited version of it) when it opens and use that - then send this file back to the web when you close the iphone version. This is similar to the calendar model I have. My calendar is really stored on google - I very rarely go into google to amend it - I do that in either Outlook or my iphone, but the function of google calendar os to keep everything in sync.
