Hi, Just to expand on this a little. Hiding tasks in the ToDo is dependant on the filter that is used in the ToDo list - if you show 'ALL' tasks in the ToDo list then 'hide only this task' is ignored because ALL means all. So in order to workaround this you have to set the Advanced Filter - HideinToDo = False.
If you are using other filters and still see the active project and you want to hide it, then there is an 'IsProject' filter that you can use. So you can set 'IsProject = False' will hide a project with no children. Though in general terms Jon is right - the project shows in order for you to address it. Mark it as complete, add more tasks etc. All the best Steve ----- Original message ---------------------------------------- From: Kudos <[email protected]> To: MyLifeOrganized <[email protected]> Received: 06/01/2009 16:26:47 Subject: [MLO] Re: Empty projects appear in Todo >The idea within GTD philosophy is that if you have a >project with no >children, then you need to set some 'next actions' for it. >So the >project shows in the to-do list to remind you. >I also use the 'encode project name' to task name >feature, so I know >what project each task refers to. >Sorry you are confused!
