Hi Kudos, I am giving Mark Forster's AutoFocus a trial run in MLO so I thought I would try MLO Hotkeys for its PartialCompleteTask (Alt+Space).
I selected a task, pressed the hotkey Alt+Space, and here is what happened: the task was duplicated, but the name of my Inbox was changed to "P", and the new "P" root task, and all of its subtasks were duplicated 3 times. So I ended up with 4 copies of my Inbox (including subtasks), and Inbox is now called "P". I should mention that I have ActiveWords installed on my computer. ActiveWords is an application that monitors keystrokes and launches programs, open folders, etc. based on what is typed and an ActiveWord trigger. I mention this application because I already know that MLO_Hotkeys is causing some problem with ActiveWords. Usually, Ctrl +Space opens the Activewords Actionpad, but that doesn't happen with the MLO_Hotkeys.ahk loaded. As soon as I exit MLO_Hotkeys.ahk, Ctrl +Space opens the Activewords Actionpad. Is Ctrl+Space a hot key in MLO_Hotkeys? I looked in ActiveWords and I didn't see Alt+Space as a hot key in that application so I am unsure of why PartialCompleteTask produced the result that I described above. I also noted that MLO_Hotkeys overrides hot keys that I set up in MLO. This is not a particularly big deal as I just changed the hot key in MLO so it didn't conflict with the hot key in MLO_Hotkey. Do you show a sorted list of the hot keys in MLO_Hotkeys? That would have been helpful so I would have know that my MLO hot key of Alt-Z would not work with MLO_Hotkeys loaded. MLO_Hotkeys looks like it would be very useful, but I do not want to give up the functionality of ActiveWords, so I hope that these 2 applications can play nicely together. If MLO_Hotkeys uses Ctrl+Space, that would explain the conflict I am having with ActiveWords, so that would be an easy fix. I am unsure of why Alt+Space changed my Inbox and copied it 3 times over. Any thoughts on why this happened. I appreciate any insight that you might be able to give me.
