Possibly the best way to implement Autofocus is to provide another tab next to 'To-do' which shows all the same tasks that are in the To-do list BUT with the option of re-ordering them in an order you want, and ensuring they all keep their position in the todo list relative to each other, also useful would be to provide a shortcut/button to move tasks to the bottom of the list. When new tasks are generted they would automatically appear at the bottom of this list, in line with the autofocus methodology.
