I would definitely second the request the option for the PPC to use the same file as the desktop version. This way the standard filesync could be used, either to a removable card or by using the PPC as a usb memory stick as many HTC and other devices allow.
When I asked for this before I was told there were technical reasons why it couldn't happen, but I'm not convinced.
