Add always visible button to the left upper corner of the main window
to manage subtasks level at one\two clicks.
The good example is Microsoft Project.
<Show> - Button
[All Subtasks] - Menu items
[Outline level 1]
[Outline level 2]
[Outline level 3]
[Outline level 4]
[Outline level 5]
etc (8 or 10 levels should be enough)
Let assign hotkeys to every menu item in Options (like Alt-1, Alt-2,
etc). Apply leveling to Outline and To-do tabs (in general to every
tree in the program)
The main idea is to easy and QUICKLY overview all tasks tree at
required level of details using mouse or hotkeys.
Currently there is View->Expand\Collapse->Show levels 1-4 menu items
which 1) have no hotkeys 2) have only 4 levels 2) are not usable at
all if you have a deep task structure.
