The settings for this are in TOOLS/OPTIONS/THEMES AND FORMATTING/EDIT THEME - select the TREE FORMAT tab and then select the GRID tab. You can get the colours for the default theme by opening these settings while the MLO default theme is selected. You can then just copy and paste the default colour values or the drop down arrows give you a colour selector if you want something different. These settings cover the Outline and To Do.
The settings are application wide i.e. they apply to all MLO files but at any time you can create and save custom themes if you wish which, when selected, will become the new default theme.
