Issue: MLO Task Notes display in a distorted unreadable manner. Font
doesn't render correctly. MLO 2.5 does not have this issue.
Solution: Change the font used for MLO task notes in MLO 3.0 or
install Tahoma font in Ubuntu.
Easiest solution: Change the task note font in MLO 3.0.
  In MLO select Tools, Options...
Select General Application Options, Themes and Formatting, Edit
theme...
On the Font tab select Notes editor, Font
select any installed font on the drop down list. Click OK.

If you wish to use the Tahoma font in Ubuntu use this method.
Run the following on the command line: gksu nautilus /usr/share/
fonts/truetype (if you don't have a truetype folder create one,
however the name of the folder is not critical it is merely helpful
for organization) :-)
Copy tahoma.ttf and tahomabd.ttf into the truetype folder. Found in
c:\windows\fonts.
Run the following on the command line:sudo fc-cache -f -v
When the fc-cache command completes then restart MLO
  See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Fonts for more detail.
