Actually on reflection, changing the second option so that it is
*   skip all overdue occurrences

would solve my problem without needing to add a third option.  ie: if
the occurrence falling on today's date (if it does) either doesn't
have a time or the time is earlier than now,  the next occurrence is
set to the occcurence after this;  if time is after now,  the
occurrence is set to today's date.
