Agree with all of this.... User defined labels for ALL the slider values would definitely be a good thing (with default labels of course).. (Maybe a little textbox below each slider which changes when the slider moves to the next notch.) People use these sliders in different ways and labelling them would help people to apply them in a consistent fashion..
