I like to keep my working notes, links, etc. next to the task. That's a bit harder to keep "pretty" with plain text. RTF would be infinitely better. HTML formatting support would be even better as sometimes I'm copying info from a web page.
E.g., task might be : Implement XYZ feature in version Y of software. This code snipped might help.
