Hello all I'm trying MLO but I'm still undecided on choosing/buying it because I find it too much bugged.
Just to describe some of them: bug 1) MLO-Desktop/PocketPC: I use to connect and disconnect my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone to my PC many times a day and most of the times (about 3 times on 4) the "MyLifeOrganized Windows Mobile Sync Manager" doesn't work after the connection. It stay hanged with the green arrows on the status "(Connected)". When I close it (right click - Exit) and re-open it, it works: the green arrows move and the sync is executed correctly. bug 2) MLO-PocketPC: put it in landscape (horizontal) view, click the "blue arrow-up arrow-down" button to open the second line, pass to the portrait (vertical) view: the "File Edit Tools etc." line disappear and a white line appears to fill the remaining empty space. This is erroneous. Since I always use MLO in landscape view and I almost always use the arrows (second line), and when I power off and on my device it automatically/unwantedly switches between landscape and portrait view, I have to recover it from this bug almost every time I power on my device and therefore this is a major nuisance and waste of time. bug 3) MLO-PocketPC: the temporary sync popup message temporarily cause the horizontal scroll to move, then it returns as before. It should stay firm. bug 4) MLO-PocketPC: when I open any of the menu (for example "Edit") and press the hardware arrow-down key it creates an unwanted multiple selection of those lines I pass over (except the first line) and some of the menu lines become empty. bug 5) MLO-PocketPC: if I'm renaming a task and I horizontal scroll, it loose the renaming mode bug 6) MLO-Desktop: the "Context Hours" don't work/have no effect: I created a context with only office hours and a sample task associated only to this context. In the ToDo "Active Actions" view I unchecked "Include closed" but I continue to see my sample task now that is midnight. lack 1) MLO-Desktop: the right-click key on the keyboard, that is between the right WinKey and the right CTRL in my keyboard, has no effect on the tasks in both the Outline and To-Do views. It should have the same effect of the mouse right-click, like in Windows standard. lack 2) MLO-PocketPC: the copy and paste actions of the task name text are impossible while renaming them. It should be possible as for WinMo standard and it would be very useful, for example when one wants to split a long/double task name into two tasks. My system: Windows Vista Business english 32bit, MLO desktop last ver., Windows Mobile 6.1 phone, MLO Pocket PC last ver. Let see if this message change something...
