Thank's for the reply - I rechecked what was happening and you are right, filters are stored in the ML file BUT are not included in synchronization.
This is how I have set it up. I have a small netbook Eee PC and then a main computer. I work on local copies of an ML file but sync them both to a common file in "My Dropbox". This is really good if you don't want to overwrite changes if you happen to have MLO open on both computers at the same time and allows you to safely keep the two in sync (if you happen to change the same node MLO will let you know how to resolve the conflict). I was wondering why my filters weren't coming across though, but this is because they appear not to be part of the sync as opposed to not being in the ML file at all. Not a massive deal though - I wouldn't call this high priority but of course would be nice if it was easy.
