This is a feature that a number of us have been asking for a while. I'm guessing this might be something that is looked at for Version 4.
Simple note formatting and security features are the main things I think are missing at the moment. I'm sure it will come, MLO is always a very stable product and changes are implemented with care which is not a bad thing. Despite some of MLO's shortcomings it's still a great tool.
