Dear Luc, If I understand you correctly, to solve your problem - to differentiate between tasks within projects or under other parents, you can use 1) customization of "to-do list format" (e.g. "Prj:" for projects and nothing if you switch on "encode task path" option, both in Options. or 2) use advanced custom formatting and have e.g. two different colors of tasks (project tasks, non-project tasks)
