Firstly, you're right... Printing is possibly the least friendly part of MLO. Like you, I'm surprised it doesn't get raised more often.
Having said that, it's not a problem for me personally as, with a bit of basic CSS knowledge, I can acheive what I want. It's quite easy to experiment if you want to have a go - don't be put off. Just remember to save/rename the original MLO files for backup. Until there are changes, the options open to you include synching to Outlook and exporting to Excel and changing the print output there. Alternatively, have you had a look at the Print PocketMod option in the File Menu?
