I have the same problem, the same error appear sometimes (not always) and i have notify this problem at mlo Support from the first beta but the situation still remain. A suggestion: in general options select "prompt at startup" on the Default Data File parameter, close the application with task manager and restart the application selecting the MLO file to open, with this procedure i pass the error loop.
