Do you see this as something that is unlikely to change, Andrey?   I
have already moved away from using Reoccuring dates for this reason
and also because it is cumbersome adjusting the dates of a reoccuring
item.

I now manually create copies and assign dates to them in the future -
which is less than ideal.

I would definitely favour the Outlook approach where it actually
creates instances of the reoccuring items which can then be
individually be adjusted whilst retaining their link to the
originating parent item which holds the details of the reoccouring
pattern.

Clearly this wouldn't work for items which are marked as Regenerate
next task x hours (or whaterver) after each task is completed but I
feel sure there is away to achieve both.
