Sorry for the double post. Meant to add that you can use a recurrence that ends at a certain date, too. So you would create a recurrence for this year, copy one for next year and set the start and end dates a year apart...
Still I think it is easier to just use one and change the dates manually at the end of the season. That is what I do...
