In addition to OTA mobile / cloud sync the main feature I'd like to see implemented in MLO 4 is a high level function to separate different life areas.
Currently I use two separate .ml files on my desktop at home (one for simple actions and another for managing myself), I then have another .ml file at the office for work related tasks. In order to avoid having very long and complex list of files in the outline view and because certain tasks projects relate to limited area of life this is a sensible approach. If proper sync is to be implemented it would presumably remove the ability to work with several separate files so I propose the following approach: - folders at the top of the screen (like folders at the top of a browser categorising websites into IE news etc). These should be fully customisable but most likely uses would be life / work etc and clicking on one would screen out all tasks in the others. Arguably these would operate a bit like meta-contexts but from a housekeeping point of view they would be useful IE for very complex bespoke project to remove clutter of all neighbouring tasks / projects on the very busy outline view. Would be great to hear more from develolpers about what is coming for next major version. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
