This whole cloud sync, worries me a bit. I understand that the
developers would love to have a steady inflow of cash on top of
product sales and upgrades, but I get the feeling this is the only
reason its out there if you see the way it was pushed out there
demanding payment first before it was proven.

And to be honest I think rather high price if you look at things like
evernote, tiddlyspot, other tools that offer free sync.

Also if you scan the desired features lists, at least I did not find
anyone asking for cloud sync. I suspect there are a many other
features that more people want (simple calendar view, text formatting
in the notes, etc.) that have received no attention for years.

I also fear that we will see that improving other easy ways of syncing
between devices (bluetooth, wifi network, usb, etc.) may now be
ignored in order to push us to the extra costs of cloud service. Like
I have wanted to use the iPhone version on my iPod (if it ever gets
released), but worry that cloud sync might end up the only way to
sync... then I am stuck with the extra costs (actual, if I have to
cloud sync with my future mobile phoneI will quit MLO and find
something more flexible).

Well, these are my worries, based on what I see in the emails updates
I get, and based on my view and way of working in this world. Others
will see it differently, I am sure.
