Okay - I think I have how to reproduce it. Whether it is really a bug, and how serious, I will let you decide. It is triggered when you are trying to get a file that you began on a different device onto the second device with a first sync. I think it is more a case of me not being observant and the program being mildly counter-intuitive than a bug.
Open MLO (Desktop or Blackberry). If you have a DB file open, close it. Configure your sync settings to connect to cloud sync and sync with a file that is already in use and available on the cloud. (you are doing this to transfer a new database you started on your blackberry onto your desktop, or vice versa, without having to bother with a USB connection). Sync. When the sync is complete, there will be a new task, named "new task" in the root. I now see it was already there when I started with a blank DB file.... but depending upon the purpose of always starting a db with one task, I think it is arguably counter-intuitive. It can start to look more like a bug because if you don't notice initially, you are going to sync it into one or more of your other instances of that DB, making it look like this task keeps popping in when you sync. A few days after starting to use cloudsync, when the rate of new file syncing is down, it appears to have been a blip that has now gone away On Sep 4, 10:56 pm, Someguy <[email protected]> wrote: > I have seen it a couple of times on the Blackberry version - and I > think I had it once on the desktop pro app. I think it may be related > to the first time you sync a file.
