The date formatting options look pretty powerful but the precise way in which they work is not clear from the Help file.
Can anybody confirm/answer the following: 1. The tickboxes on the General page override what is set on the Advanced tab? 2. "Use 'other' format if date within x days from today "appears only work for future dates? (Aside: I found the use of the term 'other' confusing - 'this' might be a better word) 3. If you set the second 'if date within' option at (say) 90 days, then presumably this applies to dates in the 31 to 90 range (assuming the first Advance option is left at 30 days) Observation: some additional explanation of the precise way in which each of these boxes works would be helpful.
