I believe it can't be easily modified, but would have to be "converted" to a different format and there are no means to do so in Bonsai. But it's long time since I did this and there were inbetween one or two users that vastly improved the Bonsai import so they might be more suited to comment. Maybe after the Bonsai export it could be converted using XSLT, I don't know that's beyond my technical know-how.
