Interesting idea. The normal splash screen for utility software is a "tip of the day" or similar which, considering some of MLO's best stuff is hidden away, might be a good addition to encourage new/trial users. The motivation could even come from some very basic reporting like "tasks completed yesterday" "tasks created yesterday" "tasks deferred yesterday".
