I'm probably in a class of one but I've never really understood the 
reluctance of many MLO users to have more than one file. Yes, it's nice and 
tidy to have one file, you can search all your tasks in one go, you can have 
one complete view of all your tasks etc etc I just think there are also 
benefits in having multiple files where there is a clear division and 
separate contexts e.g. personal/work, shared/individual, 
non-project/project. These include: greater focus on a particular context, 
ability to have different data file settings (see Tools>Options for 
details), easier sharing (as in this case).

So, my suggestion to you would be - have two files!
