I'm sorry but I don't understand why you can't do this from one original
file if you use two "sync" files. Maybe I am missing something.

In your original file you need a separate branch of your work. Call this
the "wife" branch or whatever.

In the synchronization section create two sync files; an "everything" file
and a "wife" file. Again call them what you want. Create the "everything"
sync for just you.

When you create the "wife" sync you just need to go into the "branch sync"
tab and select your "wife" branch.

Now when you sync you sync to two files; one for you that syncs everything
and one for you and your wife that only syncs the wife branch.

Ok, I admit I've never done this but that would seem to be what you are
looking for. Does this not work the way it appears?
