Used to run MLO on a 2006 model MacBook pro via Parallels. Now I run it on the new MacBook pro 15'' 2.2Ghz, also via Parallels. Works absolutely perfectly (which was not the case for Crossover). Performance is fine on both the VM and host machine. Running Windows 7 I keep the VM to one CPU core and 512Mb RAM. Giving it more or less seems to make it slower. I always resented having to run a Virtual Machine just for MLO, but after at least 10 abortive attempts to move to Omnifocus, I gave up and realised it is worth it for MLO.
