Could you use a "snooze" context or flag which you can use to alter your
to-do views so that snoozed tasks don't appear. You could then check the
snooze context in the morning and "unsnooze" those tasks that you want to
unsnooze and they would reappear. You could probably even set up your to do
list to just exclude those tasks that are in the snooze context and that
have been modified in the last 12 or 24 hours so that they will reappear
automagically the next day (unless you make other changes to them between
snoozing them and the next day of course).
