My favorite way is to have two top folders, one for work and one for Personal.
Then you set two bookmarks, bookmark one for work, bookmark two for personal. Then you can use Zoom to zoom into either folder tree: ctrl-2, ctrl-r will take you into personal only mode. ctrl-alt-r undoes the "zoom."
